AllCom Files Patents for the Genie Gateway, Its Most Forward-Looking Unified Communications Service to Date
Patent application describes Genie Gateway as “a Digital Buffet of elegant business solutions, delivered from a single source on a single platform in a single cloud.”
AllCom announced today that it has filed patents for its most forward-looking integrated unified communications service to date. The Genie Gateway combines telephone, television, electronic commerce with the internet into one seamless service, aimed squarely at businesses and individuals who want a fully rounded presence on the internet without the cost and complexity of the build-it-yourself approach.
“The best way to predict the future is to invent it”, said Thomas E. Skala, AllCom’s CEO. “One of the most important unique attributes of our invention is that information moves from process to process on the same platform, rather than from provider to provider – or even from system to system. This approach delivers faster, more tightly integrated services with greater security and privacy.”
“Other than through the numerous proprietary inventions covered in this application, the only way for a competitor to even approach the suite of services offered on the Genie Gateway would be to put a dozen services providers and their platforms into an ‘intellectual property blender’,” explained AllCom CTO Stuart Scamman. “Even then, you couldn’t duplicate the blend of services offered with just a few clicks on the Genie Gateway.”
“Customers are no longer happy with just chocolate, vanilla or strawberry, they want thirty-one flavors and more, and they want to buy it all in the same store”, said Randall Skala, AllCom’s Vice President and COO. “The Genie Gateway is that single-source solutions, for a fraction of the cost imposed by any multi-platform competitor or collection of various providers”, added Randall Skala
“The Genie Gateway, will be priced at only $9.95 per a month to new customers. Each current AllCom subscriber will be offered the Genie Gateway free of charge for the lifetime of their existing service,” continued Randall Skala, ”in return for periodically providing feedback and sharing their user experience. We built the Genie Gateway to serve our customers, and we know they are our best resource for growth.”
